Lunch date with the birthday girl!
It was just the two of us because my mama's in Bangkok and sister's in Tagaytay. I decided to spend that noon with her because I had plans later that night. But because of my niece's persistence that I go with her and her Papa to watch The King and I at Resorts World, I cancelled my plans for that night.
It's been 10 years since I became an aunt and I must say it's like I've been trained to become a mother. Haha! Really. I know it's a different feeling when you have your own child but having a niece feels like it too especially the kind of of relationship we have Hehe. To be honest, I am a strict aunt and I have a lot of rules for her. It's because I want her to grow up a better person and simply help her realize what's good and bad. But I also make a point to spend fun-times with her. Our favorite thing to do is food tripping. Haha!
I've always been with this kid ever since she was born, except those few months when her parents moved out. And in those years, I witnessed how the sweet and adorable baby became a smart and funny kid that she is today.
