Happy 9th bday, Niece!

My one and only niece, YSH, turned 9 yesterday. Oh how fast time flies! Every year we make it a point to celebrate her birthday with an out of town get-together party with relatives, mostly swimming parties. But this year we decided to celebrate her birthday by just having a simple dinner. 

We had Chicken Mushroom (Solo), Seafood Platter (to share) and one of Friday's best seller, Liempo. :)

I confess, I am a Twitter addict since 2009. Well, I've had lots of accounts since I first started "tweeting" but it's just lately that I stick to this account, www.twitter.com/caxychick.

According to wikipedia, Twitter is an online social networking service and microblogging service that enables its users to send and read text-based posts of up to 140 characters, known as "tweets". It was created in March 2006 by Jack Dorsey and launched that July. The service rapidly gained worldwide popularity, with over 140 million active users as of 2012, generating over 340 millions tweets daily and handling over 1.6 billion search queries per day. It has been described as "the SMS of the Internet." Unregistered users can read the tweets, while registered users can post tweets through the website interface, SMS, or a range of apps for mobile devices.

I really like Twitter because of its simple interface. Facebook is so complicated especially with it's newly designed timeline. On Twitter it's so easy to "talk" to celebrities. Being a fan girl, this is a plus for me. You get to greet your favorite personalities and if luck is on you, you'll even get a reply from them. What's also good about twitter is that you have easy access to news. You can follow news agencies and personalities so whatever's happening in your country or worldwide you get to read it first especially when you are checking tweets from your mobile phone. Lastly, I check twitter for some quotable quotes!

Waxed

Last Tuesday, Mama had a "vanity" appointment in Makati so niece and I decided to tag along.

We went to Brazilian Bare located at the 5th floor of  Rustan's Makati.

Since andun na rin ako, got my upper lip waxed and eyebrows threaded for the first time! Goodness, i had no idea it hurts so much. I feel so "dalaga" though! Haha!

Niece wanted to eat ice cream so we went to Gelatissimo located @ the 2nd level Greenbelt 5, Makati. Ordered just the small size but I wasn't small at all. (At least for me. :p) Mom had coffee (caffe), mine was fruity Mango and niece had Biscottino (Italian cookies and cream).

Had dinner at Gerry's Grill at Glorietta 4. Went home around 11pm and slept with a full tummy . :)
