Maroon 5: Post-Valentine

I do get kilig seeing people being in love with each other. I like romantic movies and sappy songs. And every time valentines day comes i get all giddy.

But i just realized im not actually a valentines-day-kind-of-person. You see, when i was in a relationship centuries ago, i hated celebrating the occasion. I didn't wanna go out on a date and, ugh, i hated flowers. Told my ex if ever he'll give me flowers on that day, ill never speak to him again. Ever. Haha!

I dunno. Nakokornihan ako eh. Ayokong makisabay.

But if someone is going to give me give like letters (oh i love love letters and greeting cards) flowers, gifts etc on a normal day, i will truly appreciate it. Yung random lang... no special occasion tapos bigla ka na lang bibigyan ng something. Mas kilig yun dba?

Ewww. Kumekeso na ako. STOP! :p.

So yeah, Valentine's Day is not my thing. Cheers!

who i follow

I spent the whole saturday --- sleeping. 12 hours i think. Ang productive dba? :p Ako na ang pinaka takaw tulog sa balat ng lupa.

Woke up around 9:pm, had dinner then checked twitter. I thought "what am i supposed to do for the rest of the night?"

So my plan was to have movie/tv marathon and or read blogs. The former was easy because we have cable but reading blogs? hmm... i realized i only follow 2 blogs and they're celebrities pa: Bianca Gonzalez and Saab Magalona :p (Im such a fan girl.) :)

So google google google and more google i've discovered these interesting blogs.

They're all light read and entertaining. Nothing too serious. :) But I feel so bobo reading their posts. They're so good at it. Im jealous. I like them not because they use "big words" but because of how they tell a story, particularly bianca, saab and patty. A good writer doesn't necessarily use flowery texts. They just have to connect to the readers. Am i right or am i right? :p Paglaki ko gusto ko maging isang magaling na manunuat. Haha! In the meantime, magtiis kayo sa mga kababawan ng salita at mensahe ng blog na ito, or better yet, huwag niyo ng basahin ang mga posts ko. Haha!

Will do the marathon now. Good morning, Manila.

Adele and 21

Adele's newest album , 21. I'm an Adele fan ever since i first heard of Make You Feel My Love which was part of her first album, 19.

Adele explained the background behind the album: "It's different from 19 — it's about the same things but in a different light," she explained in a press release. "I deal with things differently now. I'm more patient, more honest, more forgiving and more aware of my own flaws, habits and principles - something that comes with age I think" - Wiki

I have yet to download the album and listen to it again to really see the difference of this album from the last one. What i noticed though was that the songs in both albums have the same tunog. May tatak Adele kumbaga. :)

My favorite so far is Someone Like You. Here's the video.

Make You Feel My Love. I know it's a sad song but i really like it. Sucker for drama eh?

Chasing Pavements. Love the video!!! :)

I just adore Adele. Her voice is so powerful. Eventhough i can't relate to some of her songs, i still wanna listen to them. She really puts so much emotion when she sings. For other singers that could be pretty much annoying but with her it's just perfect.

I'll update this after ko mag muni2x sa iba pang songs ng 21. Or not. *wink*

Kawen in Davao 2010

Barkada get together. :) Overnight stay at Crown Regency Davao. Had dinner in one of the restos along Torres St.

Roby, Peachy and Kawen @ Jack's Ridge

Kawen brought me and Roby to Kembali Coast, Samal. It's a Balinese-Inspired leisure residential development owned by Filinvest Land. The place is really beautiful and pristine. She had a photo shoot with her ex-office mates from Filinvest so Roby and I volunteered to be their assistants. :)

I forgot what this ride is called but we really had a good time. From Kembali we rode in this "sailboat" to a nearby beach resort where it was safe to swim. I personally had FUN riding it i felt like I was a kid again. HAHA!
